Hannah Curwood -Finalist-International Songwriting Competition

I have had some very exciting news! My song Sweet Release has been chosen as a finalist in the prestigious International Songwriting Competition (ISC)! From over 15,000 entrants from all over the world, Sweet Release is a finalist in the Pop/Top 40 category of the competition, which is now down to 14 songs. Even just the opportunity to be heard by the judges (who include Tom Waits, Robert Smith, Kings of Leon and more) is an honour and I am feeling incredibly lucky to have this opportunity.
There is also a section of the comp entitled the People's Choice Award - all the finalists from every category are posted online and the public can vote for their favourite. If you wouldn't mind reading the blurb below and clicking on the link to vote it would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. You can vote once a day.............
Also if you could forward this to any of your friends, family, work colleagues who may be interested that would be incredible.

All finalists' songs have now been sent to the ISC judges who will select the winners. We will announce the winners in April as soon as the results are in. We will send you an email at that time to notify you of your status.
All finalists' songs and music videos (except for Lyrics Only songs which do not require recorded music as part of the entry) are posted on the ISC website. The songs are also included in the People's Voice - an online voting contest that allows the public to listen to all the finalists' songs and vote for their favorite one. People's Voice is separate from, and in addition to, the winners selected by ISC's panel of judges. The winner of People's Voice will receive over $2000 in prizes and bragging rights!. Be sure to tell all your friends, family, and fans, so that they can vote! Voting will take place from now until March 31, 2010.
