Hello Folks,

There are a few events I am involved in it would be great to see you at :-) A number of these I have been working on for a while and are now coming fruition! Sweet.

Coming up in the Fringe Festival I am playing music with eclectic improvisational jazz group: 'Thursday'. This event is the launch of the Festival on the 18th March in the Octagon at 12 noon.

Later that same day I am excited to be performing "fragile pop songs" that will "find their way into you ears, mind, and heart." This is the first time in about 8 months I will have performed songs and I have many new ones to share. This is at 12 Below (down the ally by Blue Oyster) AKA the Festival Club, at 10.30 on Thursday 18th. $5.

I am part of the serialised staged live radio play 'Doom Gravy'. This is performed and produced by an amazing combination of people I am honoured to be working with. These 10min episodes take place as part of the club nights at the Fringe Club at 11.30pm on the nights of: Friday 19, Saturday 20, Thursday 25, Friday 26, and Saturday 27 March (This will not be happening on 18th March as the Festival Guide states, nor will it be happening at 11pm as the Guide states in some of its entries). $5.

The interactive science exhibition project that I have been working on at the museum for the last 16 months has opened! Its called 'Survival Factor' and explores some of your body's automatic responses and systems that help you survive each day. This has been an amazing project to work on and I have been in the very privileged position to see the work of about 25 people develop and fit together into the final exhibition. It is a partnership between the museum and the polytec so I got to work with many people I wouldn't usually including a number of friends :-). The exhibition is open, so you can visit it whenever, but I thought it would be great if we all visit at the same time: From 1pm on Sunday 14 March. It is part of the Discovery World and Tropical Forest at the museum so there are ticket prices. The ticket gets you into the tropical forest, discovery world and the exhibition:
Adult: $9.50
Child (2 - 15 years): $4.50
Students/Seniors (with valid ID): $8.50
1 adult + 3 children: $20.00
2 adults + 2 children: $24.00

Well, it would be great to see you at some or all of these events, and keep an ear/eye out for my CD release party in April! More later...

All the best to you,
Amos
