So yeah, Aaron's grammar is sometimes a bit suss. No more so than that of most of the posts in this forum. Slagging off someone who willingly volunteers their time to review shows is a bit rubbish - in fact, it makes us all seem a bit like holier-than-thou scenesters. Ironic that that there's an implicit collective implication to a critique (selfishly) premised on the things that a review may or may not suggest about an online community.
I'd happily write reviews, had I the time. In fact, ask me if you want, and if I can, I will. But that's not really the point - someone has volunteered their time, and received a slagging for it. If you've time to complain, bully for you. Most of us are busy, y'know, writing songs, organizing tours, recording music, rather than dreaming up badly premised bitchy rants, but hey - well done to you, Dunedin "musicians" [and I use the term f*cking loosely here] for using your time so creatively, and showing us your community spirit.
Please let me know if there are any problems with my grammar, or if I just haven't been nice enough to you... oh wait, this isn't a review... not that you'd know what one was if it slapped you over the back o' the head...
This recording needs more beer.
