Hi, can someone please help me out... if I have posted a topic - saying 'Muso wanted'... but now I have found that muso...how do I delete the topic please, so I dont keep getting responses....

I have a recollection of an occasion when I posted a snarky response to some particularly crass spam (yes, I know it's spitting in the wind). Anyway, after my response went up someone - presumably DMC - deleted the spammer's post, rendering my own attempt at wit redundant. As my post was now the only one on the thread I went back, clicked on 'edit' and deleted all the words I'd typed. I'm pretty sure that after I clicked 'submit' the now-empty 'post' simply disappeared.

Of course my memory may be fallible, and it may well have been Evan or one of the other endlessly-patient DMC techies who removed it, but perhaps it's worth a try?
